About one week ago, we completed a major graphics update and have had the pleasure of receiving a significant number of replies — most of them positive and encouraging, quite frankly. We have also noticed a number of recurring remarks. It is very important for us to learn and listen to constructive criticism from our customers, to constantly improve the services we provide, down to the smallest detail. Therefore, we have already made some small changes:
- in the topbar (the black navigation bar at the top): the link to the administration panel has been renamed to “admin” instead of “login”; we’ve also added an icon to the right, to return to the alwaysdata site
- on alwaysdata.com: the sliders that presented our offer (on shared servers and managed dedicated ones) have been deleted in order to have comparison charts, and a few minor corrections have been made
An important point, however, remains unchanged for now: we had some feedback about the Fertigo font, which is used for most titles now. Beyond subjective considerations on the font (beauty is in the eye of the beholder, isn’t it?), we realize that its display can cause problems but on our side and on different configurations, we have found nothing wrong with it. So if you find that, on your computer, some texts remain unreadable for example, then please do send us screenshots accompanied with the OS / Browser version so we can have a look at it.
Again, thank you for your encouragement, comments, suggestions and we are looking forward to hearing from you soon and show you all the innovations that are in the pipeline, due to be completed by the end of the last quarter of 2010…
